Where will you be the weekend of October 17th?

In twenty-two days, the 2015 James River Writers conference will take place in Richmond, VA.

Between the award-winning authors and the accessibility to agents, this is a must attend writing conference.

Not to be a name dropper…OK, I’ll drop some names… but we have an amazing array of authors who will be participating in panels that will address writing craft and changes in the world of publishing.

Stacy Hawkins Adams (@SHAdams), Gigi Amateau, John S. Blake, Tim Cahill, Kristen Green (@kgreen), I.W. Gregorio (@IWGregorio), Bruce Holsinger (@bruceholsinger), Becky Masterson (@mastermanbecky), and Ellen Oh (@elloecho) are a few of the authors attendees will have access to. There is no way to list everyone, for a full listing of our authors and agents, click here.

The conference panels has something for everyone. Each panel has been carefully selected to help our members and attendees achieve their writing goals. You can follow the conference tracks – The Pillars of a Story, Diversity in Writing, Poetry, Writing for Kids/YA, and Writing as a Career 2.0. OR, you can pick and choose what you want to attend. There is no wrong way to experience this conference.

As a bonus on Saturday, conference attendees will be able to attend the Library of Virginia’s Literary Awards Luncheon.

Not only will you have a chance to network with other writers, you will be in an environment where everyone is striving towards the same goal – becoming a better writer. This is an opportunity to fill your creative toolbox and come away from the conference inspired and raring to get back to writing.

Join us and see what all the fuss is about. I promise you won’t regret it.
