Child of my Imagination
I’ve done it now. Hot Flashes is out in the world. I no longer have control over the work that sprung from my imagination. There will be those who point and stare, poke and prod, and declare it to be ‘fill in the blank‘. Others will enjoy the child of my imagination, celebrate its arrival in the world, and declare it to be ‘fill in the blank‘.
I trust my child to survive in the world. I trust that she will pave the way for the siblings to follow.
Sending Hot Flashes into the world is an exercise and expression in faith. Faith that I will continue to move forward on the path of my choice. Faith that I will make friends along the way. And knowing that success is not won by being safe, it is won by being willing to fail.
