An Unexpected Passing

A friend, Preston McConkie, died yesterday.  He was opinionated, funny, irreverent, and had a way with words. I only knew him through my interactions with e-Fiction Magazine and Facebook.  Even though we’d never met, he was a source of encouragement and inspiration.  He loved words.

I can’t say anything more, except – Rest In Peace Preston.

  • Wow, I remember him at eFiction. I hadn’t logged into there for awhile. So sorry to hear this. Thanks for letting your readers know, Leila.

  • So sorry for you, Leila. Modern technology can make friends of people we’ll never meet in person, but that doesn’t make their loss any less.

  • So sorry for your loss, Leila. May he rest in peace…

  • So sorry for your loss, Leila. This seems to be a week of bad and tragic news for my fellow bloggers. May the new year bring comfort and happier times.
