Horrible Sanity

I swear to you, I am going bonkers.  To quote the great Poe:

I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity. – Edgar Allen Poe

The space in my head is not a great place to be at the moment.  It’s stuffed full of ideas, life, and other things. The glorious chaos is only eclipse by my moment of rationality.  I’m not so sure I like being rational.

An look inside my noggin. Should I be afraid? Probably.

This begs the question, what’s in your mind?

  • well if you’re not afraid… just know that I AM!!

    • Yes, but you’ve known me forever. 🙂 So the insanity is not a surprise. 🙂

  • Snippets of dialogue, minor characters wanting bigger parts, main characters taunting me by withholding information, ooh chocolate, day job to-do stuff, revision ideas, …. The usual. 🙂

    • I love the main characters withholding information. I’m so glad I’m not the only one. 🙂

  • Oh, seriously that picture looks like my head!! There’s far too much in it to accomplish in a normal person’s lifetime. Then again, I’m far from normal. I have plots, characters, paintings, photos, jewelry, then there are the daily tasks, the weekend plans, dates to set, bills to pay, places to go, and yes, people to see. And that’s must in the foyer!

    • Um…just in the foyer. Not must. Darn Kindle.

      • My android’s auto correct drives me nuts too!

        • I use Swype on my phone — *oi* It gives me things like “neuter” instead of “better” and other bizarre suggestions. Most times I catch it quick enough. Not always.

          • Yesterday I was a murderer of crows, instead of a murder of crows. Each time I say ‘nevermore’.

          • LOL

    • I had fun drawing it! It was actually theraputic. 🙂

  • I read this quote somewhere the other day and I think it applies wonderfully to what is going on in my mind…
“Admit it, if people could hear your thoughts you’d be in an insane asylum.”

    • Oh so true!
