PSA – Save an Author, Write a Review

To any of you who might know an author, published or not, please save them.  An author who sees only enough sales to fill their circle of family and friends can be found in the depths of despair, a bag of hershey kisses, or, heaven help them, a bottle of Diet Dr. Pepper, drowning their sorrows.

Save an author by following these simple steps:

  • Buy their book or story – who knows you might like it.
  • Write a Review – Books, stories (any published works) live and die by the numbers.  Go out to the author’s blog/website and leave a few words.  Go out to Amazon, BN.com, iTunes, the sky.   Tell the world why you like the story (verified purchase reviewer carry more weight).
  • Tell a Friend! I can’t tell you how important this is.  The moment you tell a friend, and they like it, they then tell a friend, who tells a friend, etc. The effect is exponential.

We authors write for the love of our story.  When we get to the point of having sales, it is a validation of our storycraft.

Please, save an author – buy their book and write a review.
