#NaNoWriMo – Dear Punctuation Gods,

It’s me, Leila.  I have failed to call upon your blessings lately.  I’m sorry about that.  My writing has taken a turn for the worse, since I stopped invoking your benevolence.

I prostrate myself at your alter of punctuation in the hopes that I can repent of my wanton use of commas, apostrophes and other literary marks.

I promise to adhere your strict standards, if you only help finish editing my manuscript for lost commas and other misplaced punctuation marks.

Ever your supplicant,

Leila
