I’m Distracted…

there I said it.  I came out of the James River Writers conference with fire in my veins.  Five days later, I haven’t figured out how to get all the information in an orderly fashion in my head so that I can move on with the important things: a) implement the amazing feedback from the conference regarding my project, and b) keep my promises.

The first shiny object that crosses my path, snags my attention.

Where was I?

Oh yes, distractedly complaining about my lack of attention span. If I’m not careful, this could happen!

Honestly?  My cat would finish up my project, then demand full credit AND noms.

  • I have the attention span of a gnat. Sometimes I can’t believe I maintained enough focus to finish writing a novel. 🙂

    • Sing it! I completely understand. I’m up to my ears in queries, short stories and work. Sometimes I wish writing was the full-time job. But I’m grateful for the paycheck. hee
