Statement of Purpose

Making a statement about who you are is a scary thing.  I remember when I was in my 20’s I would say ‘I want to be a writer’.

Between then and now I’ve learned a ton of valuable life lessons.  The most important one?

Believe what I say and make it happen. No more want to be, wish to be, think I am.

When the great creator said I am the great IAM.  It was a powerful statement of being, of purpose.

The difference between my younger self and the person I am now is I have a purpose.  I know what makes me tick. What makes me happy.

I am a complex creature, ever evolving.

I am a Writer.

  • I love your mention of the great I AM. For years I’ve felt that writing is an act of naming and, in a way, partnering in the act of creation.
